ingredients
- 1 cauliflower cut into small florets
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 slices bread
- 250 g grated cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs, separated
method
- Bring the cauliflower to the boil in a large pot, then drain
- Saute the onion
- Soak the bread in the milk, beat in the egg yolks
- Mix together the cauliflower, onion, milk/crumb/yolk mixture.
- Beat the egg whites till stiff then fold through.
- Place in an oven proof baking disk and cook until set and browned on top, about an hour
